As we come up to date our possibilities diminish.Having been around for only a few years, most songs of this century can hardly be classed as popular in the same sense as those that have survived decades and still keep cropping up. And crop up they do.The following "Golden oldies" all rose into the charts yet again

There is no doubt that the top artists of the period like Gary Barlowe, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adele,and Justin Bieber are turning out spectacularly good music but the question is ..."how long will they last in the publics memory and will they resurface in years to come?"

Having scanned the charts for the last 20 years we are struggling to find likely candidates. Maybe George Ezra's "Shotgun"? Possibly the latest revival numbers are so different we will be tempted to include them in this slot and not their original time slot.Who knows?
