Familiar tunes for Clawhammer banjo

PUP.jpg

Welcome
Thanks for dropping in.
All are welcome but be aware that the site was created primarily for people in the early stages of learning Clawhammer Banjo.Especially the right hand techniques in basic frailing..

The tab ranges from simplistic to "a bit tricky". There is a short introduction to the tab and players should at least be at a stage where they recognise  techniques such as "hammer ons " , "pull offs" , slides , and  drop thumbing.

New Tab sections
Beatles and Elvis

On the ABOUT page you will find the reasoning behind this site and its main aim of providing  tab of familiar tunes for the use of beginners and improvers to help with, and maybe add fun to, practice times.

However, anyone can use these tabs just for a bit of fun.

Finally, there are no apologies here.
If you are a strict traditionalist or think your playing should be confined to Appalachian type heritage genre then this site will curl your toes !!

If you have an open mind and respect the banjo as an instrument of vast appeal and virtuosity. then you will understand the scope of the material on this site

Whatever your outlook, just try and remember your  early attempts at Clawhammer banjo and allow that some small parts of this site may help a few more people to learn and enjoy the banjo.

Thank You

Why not read the site introduction page labelled "ABOUT THE SITE" ?

                    (TOP OF THIS PAGE)

This will explain exactly why the site was started and what it hopes to achieve. Whatever you do, always enjoy your banjo. We hope our tab will help you do just that

Whilst not wanting a "Blog" page  or intruding on your privacy I do encourage you to use the "lets chat" facility which is a simple email link to me. It is not a live chat connection.  Just let me know if anything was especially useful or enjoyable so I can do even more of what people want or enjoy. Happy strumming !!
